Micke Kontinen Wins Evert ITF.

Evert Academy Student, Micke Kontinen, captured both the singles and doubles titles at the Evert ITF tournament held on site in early November. The sixteen-year-old, from Finland, defeated Robert Livi in the final 6-1, 6-4 to take the singles crown. Micke partnered with Nick Jones of Britain for the doubles and won the tournament 7-5, 6-3 defeating Bjorn Fratangelo & Alex Robles in the final.
The girls singles title was won by Kyle McPhillips who trains at ETA in the USTA Player Development Program. McPhillips defeated Caitlyn Williams 6-2, 6-0 in the final and then teamed up with Chanelle VanNuygen, who lives at ETA and trains with the USTA, for the girls doubles title, defeating Mary Clayton & Kate Fuller in the final 6-3, 6-2.
