Notice to Applicants
In accordance with the provisions of Section 440.102 of the Florida Statutes, the Evert Tennis Academy and IMG Academies has established a Drug, Alcohol and Fitness for Duty policy. It is our belief that a workplace free from the effects of drug and alcohol abuse promotes a safe, healthy working environment for all employees and reduces the incidence of accidental injury to person or property.
As a condition of hiring, all applicants who receive a conditional offer of employment with IMG Academies will be required to take pre-employment drug test. The test is a 5 panel drug screen which tests for marijuana, cocaine, amphetamines, opiates and phencyclidine (PCP). Tes results will be treated as confidential by by the Evert Tennis Academy and IMG Academies. Applicants who refuse to take a drug test or who test positive for illegal drugs will not be hired and may not reapply for employment with the Evert Tennis Academy and IMG Academies for 6 months.
The Evert Tennis Academy and IMG Academies use Quest Diagnostics as our testing laboratory and Medical Toxicology Consultants as our Medical Review Officer. Applicants receiving positive test results may contest or explain the results to our Medical Review Officer within 5 working days after receiving written notification of the test result. Applicants bringing any action under Chapter 91-1 of the Laws of Florida must promptly report such action to our testing laboratory.
Copies of the Evert Tennis Academy and IMG Academies Drug, Alcohol and Fitness for Duty Policy are available for review from the Evert Tennis Academy and IMG Academies Human Resources office.
